Muse: Meet the Mutes
They both sat staring at each other’s features and eyes,
Quiet and mute they twirled their fingers and ate,
No words were exchanged from the beginning to the end,
Only the wind helped them bend the ends of their hair and move their cheeks,
He sat firm with his shoulders high and suit hot,
Heated from the coffee and intensity that left his blood boiling,
Knees knocking together shaking the table,
Her dress was from the finest drawer in her closet,
Face freshly powdered,
The acne on her skin was lifting off her face like asteroids where pulling from within,
Their wedding rings had dust on them weighing and dim,
He was nervous as he asked her to do a certain thing,
But little did he know she was strong and could face anything,
Even the thing,
He asked of her,
Last night was more like a beg,
He was only nervous because she didn’t break right away,
He was slowly turning himself inside out over and over in his mind hoping she didn’t divorce him,
She was a deviled quin,
A side of her existed he knew nothing of,
She glossed her red lip stick after every sip,
A small piece of her liked watching him squirm,
She was all for what he asked of her she didn’t want to let him have it too soon,
Didn’t want to seem too eager,
After breakfast she would surprise him with the thing sitting in the living room,
Closer and closer to the end of meal her eyebrows turns more and more smirky,
She spread out her Alexander McQueens to lay all her cards on the table,
Still no words,
Head sighs and shaking thighs,
Firm lips moving around the coffee cups,
Sweat dripping into his tea cup,
She opened her bag under the table,
So wondering eyes could't see,
Out a sneak peak to what was waiting at home,
His breath came out all at once as if he was holding it in the entire time,
The mans gasping was the most noise I heard from this table,
He got down on his knees to place his head in her lap,
To be collared....
